When we give our time and expertise, donate food and clothing, or make monetary contributions - both large and small - together, we strengthen our community. The YMCA of Collier County is participating in GivingTuesday, a global generosity movement built by individuals, families, organizations, businesses, and communities all around the globe.
Following Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday kicks off the giving season. This year, Giving Tuesday takes place on November 28. What makes it so special? It’s 100% driven by people inspired to make a positive difference - people just like you. The Y is committed to helping our community build a stronger, healthier, and better us. WAYS TO SUPPORT THE Y:
Year-end Giving
Focused on long-term sustainability, the Annual Support Campaign benefits programs like out-of-school enrichment, drowning prevention, and community health. It also goes toward Y scholarship fund, operational expenses, and outreach efforts.
Water Safety & Swim Lessons
Teaching children how to be safe around water is not a luxury; it is a necessity. The YMCA’s Safety Around Water and YMCA Swimming Lesson programs help make sure kids learn essential water safety skills, which can prevent the tragedy of drowning.
Send a Kid to Camp
Now, more than ever, we recognize that children in our community are looking forward to being able to reconnect with friends and continue fun activities while parents are searching for a safe environment for their kids.
