HOME BASE Program

The Home Base program was created to empower local Veterans and Warriors in Southwest Florida to take control of their physical well-being, provide tools to help manage stress and provide a portal for more complex care for those in need of treatment for the Invisible Wounds.

The Home Base Health and Fitness Program is a free, 90 day program for Southwest Florida Veterans. The program is designed to help Post 9/11-Veterans, both men and women, and their families, improve their physical health and well-being through supervised physical exercise, education about healthy eating, living, sleep hygiene, stress management and the health benefits of physical activity.

Through participation in the Home Base program, participants will receive a complimentary three month YMCA membership while they complete the fitness program. Participants who graduate from the Home Base program receive an additional three months of membership.

Offered at the North Campus (Naples YMCA)
