WELLNESS ORIENTATION


You made the commitment to focus on your and your family’s health and wellness when you joined the Y. Let us help you be successful for the long haul, because when you focus on your own health you inspire others to do the same.

We understand that walking into a wellness center, with its many types of equipment, can be intimidating. Let us help you! During your 30-minute orientation, you will learn how to use a few of the cardiovascular and/or strength machines in our wellness centers to increase your health and well-being. If additional time is needed to learn our fitness equipment or build an individualized wellness plan, a personal trainer can discuss our many personal training options with you.

You will learn how to use the following types of equipment:

  • Cardio machines, such as treadmills, bikes, rowers and elliptical
  • Strength machines, such as the leg press and chest press machines
